Have you ever stood on the top of a mountain, high in the Rockies, or on the banks of a mighty river, deep in a canyon, and felt as if you were breathing in the essence of life itself?

It awakens something in you, a wild, natural part of you that knows the taste of freedom. It’s the part of you that doesn’t have doubts about what you can do, it’s the part of you that just does it.

If you are new to snow sports, river running, mountain biking, or even the outdoors in general, that experience may sound like a distant dream. It can feel overwhelming just trying to figure out the right clothing, equipment, and where to go on your first few times out. I’m happy to help with all of that, and to help you learn the skills and concepts needed to start experiencing the freedom of exploring the mountain or the river.

For those of you who already know the basics, or are seasoned and solid in your skills, I would love to work with you on refining your technique or broadening your experience. I am proud to hold national certifications in snow sports instruction and in river safety, and equally proud to have access to continued professional development through my mentors in the Aspen Snow Sports Schools, the Outdoors Unlimited crew in Grand Canyon, and Pangaea River Rafting in Montana. If you are working with me to develop your skills, you too have access to all the knowledge and expertise of these institutions and a community of pros who support each other in sharing great experiences with our clients.

Let’s chat about how I can help you get the more out of your experience on the mountain or on the water this season. More freedom. More fun. More of the essence of life itself.
